From an early age, Matt was curious about how buildings were constructed and the individuals who coordinated and installed the various components. After completing his Civil Engineering degree, he entered the commercial construction industry to gain first-hand experience. Over his career, Matt has built projects in many industry sectors, including ground-up, multi-family, light industrial, and healthcare. 

Over the years, Matt has realized that the problems a team encounters during construction are usually short-lived, but the bond formed after successfully resolving issues is unparalleled. These bonds fuel Matt’s passion for recruiting top talent and developing corporate initiatives to retain and develop our team members. Matt helps lead our operations in Washington, DC, and takes pride in building and sustaining an organization that our employees can be proud to work at. In addition, Matt volunteers with DC Builds DC and the Washington Building Congress.  

Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and vacationing in their favorite destination, Telluride, Colorado. As an ardent golfer, Matt enjoys traveling to play at the Top 100 golf courses in the U.S. and volunteers with the First Tee Foundation of Greater Washington.
