DC Bar Headquarters
The DC Bar Headquarters is an eight-floor built-to-suit office building with two levels of underground parking. The ground floor is a retail space; the other seven floors are for offices. The building is made up of glass and insulated metal panels. The lobbies have stone and millwork wall finishes, and the roof has an accessible terrace. Two shuttle elevators connect the parking garage to the main floor, and three additional elevators serve all floors. The interior of the building has six floors of construction. The second floor has a reception area and training rooms; the third has a conference center and boardrooms. The upper floors have offices with demountable glass partitions and break rooms. The training rooms on the second floor have operable wall panels and motorized black-out shades for privacy. An interconnecting stair provides access to the first-floor retail space from the second floor, and a separate stair connects floors three through five. The building finishes include cork, Terrazzo, ceramic, carpet flooring, back-painted glass, and cherry veneer wall panels.
