Houston Center 2, 3 & 4

Spanning over 4,000,000 SF across four buildings, Houston Center straddles both sides of McKinney Street in the heart of Houston’s Business District. Originally designed as a City for the Future, Houston Center quickly became known for its distinct presence. In 2017, Brookfield Property Partners purchased the mixed-used development with plans to revitalize and unify the campus. The redevelopment primarily focuses on upgrades to Two Houston Center, LyondellBasell Tower, Fulbright Tower and Four Houston Center. The upgrades reimagined the iconic campus as a dynamic new neighborhood in downtown Houston.

In addition to an entirely new arrival experience through a reimagined central plaza and green space along McKinney Street, the new Houston Center features a monumental spiral staircase that connects the central plaza to the campus, as well as sky bridges that connect all buildings together suspended over the roadways. The lobby spaces within LyondellBasell Tower and Two Houston Center underwent significant renovations, including integrating a three-story glass facade at Two Houston Center with modernized elevator cabs. Additional renovation elements include new world-class tenant amenities like a high-end fitness center, conferencing venues and lobby coworking spaces. The emphasis on a more people-focused environment allows for what will be tantamount to a new neighborhood in the ever-changing Downtown Houston landscape.
