SXSW Corporate Headquarters
The world-renowned Pei Cobb Freed Architecture firm designed SXSW’s Corporate Headquarters. The unique S shape design allows the building to maintain six existing heritage trees. The building creates an iconic landmark near the Texas State Capital, embodying the spirit of SXSW and Austin. The building is a 147,000 SF, 13-story, Class A office building plus a 134,178 SF parking garage. The building’s Class A finishes, activated lobby, unique column free-layout and rooftop garden terrace provide a one-of-a-kind environment for tenants and visitors to create and collaborate. The garage skin blends custom unitized perforated aluminum panels and unitized glass curtainwall. The ground floor includes native Texas landscaping, rain gardens, City of Austin Great Streets, wood decks around the heritage oak trees, and lueder paving stones.
Level One includes a state-of-the-art lobby space, office lease space, café, bike storage room, gym, and locker room. Levels Two through Six are the parking garage levels. Levels Seven-12 are the office space levels. Level 13’s roof has 3,000 SF of office space and a 2,000 SF roof terrace. The office space has no interior columns throughout. The 60-foot span allows for an area that takes advantage of some of the city’s best views of the State Capitol. The Level 13 rooftop terrace landscaping includes native Texas plants and grasses. This space allows for a gathering space for the building occupants.
